Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Project Scrum Manager in Washington, DC to lead Agile team activities and support delivery through Scrum practices and ISO 9001-aligned QMS. The role supports the Department of State, Directorate of Passport Services, and is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities include removing impediments, promoting quality, coordinating with stakeholders, and protecting the team from distractions to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Strong understanding of Scrum practices.
• Experience implementing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Team facilitation, project coordination and problem solving.

• Coordinate project work and encourage collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and manage Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Promote adherence to established quality practices to support high-quality deliverables.
• Identify and remove impediments that affect team progress.
• Protect the team from external distractions and support a productive working environment.
• Communicate delivery issues and coordinate resolutions with appropriate stakeholders.
