Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Project Scrum Manager in Washington, DC. Primary duties include leading Agile teams as Scrum Master, facilitating ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement while aligning with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. The role supports the Department of State and requires U.S.

citizenship and a federal background check. Educational requirements include a 4-year degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Strong understanding of Scrum practices.
• Demonstrated experience implementing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Team facilitation and coordination-oriented problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams and facilitate Scrum activities.
• Coordinate project work and encourage collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and manage Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Promote adherence to established quality practices to support high-quality deliverables.
• Identify and remove impediments that affect team progress.
• Protect the team from external distractions and support a productive working environment.
• Communicate delivery issues and coordinate resolutions with appropriate stakeholders.
