Job summary

UC San Diego's Division of Regenerative Medicine is recruiting Project Scientists to focus on stem cell and regenerative medicine, aging, and related datasets. The role includes designing experiments, mentoring staff, and contributing to manuscripts and grant activities.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
• Candidates must have a PhD in Cell, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, or other relevant areas/disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Focus research on stem cell and regenerative medicine and aging.
• Design and execute experiments, analyze and interpret complex datasets, develop and optimize experimental approaches, teach and mentor junior laboratory personnel, and contribute to manuscripts, presentations, and grant-related activities.
• Submit research grants independently as well as perform research projects in collaboration with faculty in the Division.
