Job description

The Division of Regenerative Medicine within the Department of Medicine at the University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence among the faculty, staff, and student body and is currently recruiting Project Scientists.

The Project Scientists will focus their research on stem cell and regenerative medicine and investigate the role of hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) function and aging. Additionally, the Project Scientist will design and execute experiments, analyze and interpret complex datasets, develop and optimize experimental approaches, teach and mentor junior laboratory personnel, and contribute to manuscripts, presentations, and grant-related activities. The Project Scientists will also submit research grants independently as well as perform research projects in collaboration with faculty in the Division.

Appointments will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Project Scientist level based on background and experience.
