Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $74,100-$195,000. See Table Project Scientist Series - Represented Fiscal Year for the salary range for this position.

Project Scientist positions are available throughout the year in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UC Irvine. These positions are sponsored by faculty members and involve significant and creative contributions to research projects. Appointees may be part of a research team or employed for a limited period to contribute high-level skills. Candidates must have broad knowledge, competency, and a high degree of independence.
