Salary range: The annual salary range for this position is $74,100 - $195,000. The posted UC salary scale sets the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.

Position description

Project Scientist Series positions are available throughout the year in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Candidates with a Ph.D. or M.D. degree, a strong laboratory research background, publications, and specialized training in biomedical, biological sciences, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

This is an ongoing recruitment, dependent on extramural funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year, with renewal contingent on support availability. For specific research programs, visit https://www.physiology.uci.edu/faculty.asp.
