Actalent in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team supporting energy, infrastructure, and construction initiatives. The role focuses on developing schedules, tracking performance, and driving on-time, on-budget delivery with cross-functional partners.

You will use Primavera P6, Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore to analyze schedules, manage risks, and support forecasting. This is a hybrid role with onsite and remote components in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of scheduling experience in construction/EPC/industrial projects
• Strong experience with Primavera P6
• Experience with Excel, Bluebeam and Procore
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain complex project schedules
• Energy/Power/Renewables/Industrial/Infrastructure project experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Create post-construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports
• Analyze critical path activities, schedule risks, and project performance
• Support planning, forecasting, resource loading, and cash flow reporting
• Conduct schedule updates with project teams and site personnel
• Partner with Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Estimators, and Contractors to align schedule, scope, and budget
• Support project controls initiatives through schedule analysis and reporting
• Utilize Primavera P6, Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore
