Job summary

CRB Group is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to develop CPM schedules for Design-Build and EPCM projects using Primavera P6. You will produce KPI reports, progress updates and ensure compliance with CRB's scheduling standards and contractual requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, 10+ years in the industry with 5+ of scheduling, and expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, plus travel up to 50% across the continental U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years of scheduling experience
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software
  • Willing to travel up to 50% to support multiple projects across the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico

Responsibilities

  • Develop CPM schedules for a variety of project types, including complex Design‑Build and EPCM projects.
  • Facilitate interactive planning sessions and Last Planner System activities for project teams
  • Work with project teams to develop the WBS, identify key milestones and KPIs, and progressively add schedule details
  • Perform quality checks and analysis of vendor and trade partner schedules, ensuring they are accurately incorporated into project master schedules
  • Create customized schedule reports to meet specific project needs
  • Update schedules, evaluate schedule performance, report variances and assist in developing mitigation plans as needed
  • Perform expert‑level critical path, float path and schedule slip analyses and assist teams to mitigate as needed
  • Objectively report project schedule health, progress, risk and opportunities to corporate leadership
  • Ensure that project scheduling practices comply with corporate standards and contractual requirements
  • Mentor, coach, and develop less experienced scheduling staff in good scheduling practices to expand and enhance scheduling capabilities within CRB.

Job Description

The Project Scheduler prepares and maintains summary‑level and detailed CPM schedules for design, construction, procurement, commissioning and integrated Design‑Build and EPCM projects using Primavera P6 Software. Develops KPIs and provides progress updates and reports as required for each project. Provides schedule training and software support as needed. Responsible for ensuring all project scheduling practices comply with corporate standards and contractual requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or a similar field
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years of scheduling experience
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software
  • Willing to travel up to 50% to support multiple projects across the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to independently develop preliminary schedules with minimal input from project teams
  • Experience scheduling $100M+ multi-phase (design, procurement, construction, and commissioning) capital projects
  • Experience leading interactive pull‑planning and LPS planning sessions
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior scheduling staff
  • Strong verbal, written and graphical communication skills
  • OSHA 10-hour certification
