Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC seeks a Project Scheduler II – E&C for a 1-year contract in Juno Beach, Florida. You will join the project Scheduling Team for the Engineering and Construction Division and collaborate with Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers on multiple technologies.

The role emphasizes creating and maintaining schedules with Primavera P6, CPM analyses, resource and cost loading, and management reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Primavera P6 Scheduling software experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or similar field, or applicable experience.
• Team player. Be able to work with all project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints to be included within the plan and schedule.
• Lead the Schedule review Meetings with all project participants and to coordinate requirements to ensure resources are focused on the right project activities.
• Review, criticize and validate external information.
• Report project status and variances to management in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and progress project schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
• Prepare monthly reports for construction projects comparing baseline of approved schedules to progress schedules.
• Perform critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, workforce submittal analysis and recovery planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and report to management for an impressive portfolio of projects.
• Develop accurate schedules across multiple technologies through the project life cycle.

About the role:

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

We're looking for a Project Scheduler II – E&C on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will join the project Scheduling Team for the Engineering and Construction Division located in Juno Beach, Florida. You will work directly with the Project Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers supporting the development, engineering, and construction of multiple technologies. Examples of projects include but are not limited to ones that the company has worked on, such as Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substations, Pipelines, Combine Cycles, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the group Manager, you will responsible for the creation, maintenance and progress of project schedules using Primavera P6 Software.


• You may also be in charge of the preparation of monthly reports for construction projects comparing baseline of approved schedules to progress schedules.


• This may include critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, workforce submittal analysis, evaluation of update impacts and aid in recovery plan development.


• You will be an important player as a member of the scheduling team in support project teams working on multiple technologies to lead project success through the project's entire life cycle.


• Your scheduling, management and technical skill set will be important to develop and accurate schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and report to management for an impressive portfolio of projects.
