Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a qualified candidate to join the project scheduling team for the Engineering and Construction Division in Florida on a 1-year, onsite contract. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6, monitoring progress, and performing CPM analyses to manage baselines and changes.

The role requires 4+ years of Primavera P6 experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or Business Management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Primavera P6 scheduling software experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, or Business Management.
• Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
• Monitor project progress and ensure schedules reflect current status and milestones.
• Prepare baseline and progress schedules to identify variances and schedule impacts.
• Perform CPM analysis to support planning and execution.
• Evaluate schedule updates and assess impact of changes on timelines and deliverables.
• Support development of schedule recovery and mitigation plans when delays or risks are identified.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to gather schedule information and ensure alignment across activities.
• Facilitate scheduling and progress review meetings with project stakeholders.
• Generate and present scheduling reports and project status updates to management.
• Provide scheduling support throughout all project lifecycle phases.

About the role: Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to join the project scheduling Team for the Engineering and Construction Division located in Juno Beach, Florida. This candidate will work directly with the Project Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers supporting the development, engineering, and construction of various technologies. Examples of projects include but are not limited to Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substatons, Pipelines, Combine Cycles, etc.

Reporting to the group Manager, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and progress of project schedules using Primavera P6 Software. You may also be in charge of the preparation of monthly reports for construction projects comparing baseline of approved schedules to progress schedules. This may include critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, personnel submittal analysis, evaluation of update impacts and aid in recovery plan development. This will be a 1-year contract role onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
• Monitor project progress and ensure schedules accurately reflect current project status and milestones.
• Prepare and analyze baseline and progress schedules to identify variances and schedule impacts.
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to support project planning and execution.
• Evaluate schedule updates and assess the impact of changes on project timelines and deliverables.
• Support the development of schedule recovery and mitigation plans when delays or risks are identified.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to gather schedule information and ensure alignment across project activities.
• Facilitate scheduling and progress review meetings with project stakeholders.
• Generate and present scheduling reports and project status updates to management.
• Provide scheduling support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle to help achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate and effective project execution schedules.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Primavera P6 Scheduling software experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or similar field, or applicable experience.
