Job summary

Spencer Ogden is partnering with an established general contractor to appoint a Project Scheduler in Tennessee. You will develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules, apply CPM scheduling, and collaborate with senior leaders to drive on-time project delivery across a diverse portfolio of large-scale commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years experience in construction scheduling or project controls.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling.
• Experience working for a general contractor on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Ability to develop, analyse and communicate complex construction programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Tennessee or the wider Southeast is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Apply Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling to monitor progress, identify risks and highlight potential delays.
• Work closely with project teams and senior operations leadership to support effective planning and project delivery.
• Analyse schedule performance, identify critical activities and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Support consistent scheduling standards and improve visibility across multiple projects.
• Communicate programme updates, milestones and potential risks to key stakeholders.

We’re partnering with an established, privately held general contractor with over 50 years of experience delivering major commercial construction projects across Tennessee and the wider Southeast.

With a strong project pipeline extending into 2027 and beyond, the business is looking to appoint a Project Scheduler to strengthen its scheduling capabilities and support project delivery across the organisation.

Reporting directly to the EVP of Operations, this is an opportunity to take on a strategic role, work closely with senior leadership and make a tangible impact across a diverse portfolio of large-scale commercial projects.
