We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to join our growing team. This position offers the flexibility of part-time remote work while providing the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile construction projects. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Construction Scheduler with strong Primavera P6 experience to support multiple projects throughout California and across the United States. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges, collaborating with project teams, and helping clients make informed project decisions.
This position is remote with occasional travel to project sites or client meetings as needed.
Compensation
- $50-$90 per hour, based on experience
- Part-time, 20-30 hours per week
- Additional hours available based on workload and employee interest
- Position may be classified as exempt or non-exempt depending on experience and responsibilities
Typical Work Hours
- Flexible schedule within normal business hours
- Generally, Monday through Friday
- Between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Primavera P6 construction schedules
- Build baseline schedules from contract documents
- Perform schedule updates and progress analysis
- Develop recovery and mitigation schedules
- Prepare Time Impact Analyses (TIA)
- Perform delay analysis and forensic schedule reviews
- Review contractor schedules on behalf of owners
- Conduct schedule quality reviews using industry best practices
- Facilitate scheduling meetings with project teams
- Support pull planning and collaborative scheduling sessions
- Perform resource and cost loading when required
- Prepare executive schedule reports and project dashboards
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Support claims analysis and project controls initiatives

Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of construction scheduling experience
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles
- Experience managing multiple active projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
Preferred Software Experience
- Primavera P6
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Excel
- Bluebeam Revu
Experience with additional project controls software is a plus.
