Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. in Lockport, LA is seeking a Project Scheduler to oversee manufacturing workflow and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across fabrication, assembly, and installation of vessels.

The role requires coordinating with production supervisors and sub-contractors to ensure on-time progress and recovery planning. The ideal candidate has Primavera P6 experience and a background in industrial manufacturing or shipbuilding, with strong communication and multi-tasking

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in preparing production schedules for industrial manufacturing and/or fabrication projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.
• Shipbuilding and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience is a plus.

• Manage workflow between departments and operations based on established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Lead in development of IMS to support build strategies through the construction, outfitting and commissioning of vessels.
• Confer with department supervisors and sub-contractors to determine the physical status of assigned projects.
• Prepare reports and update project reviews.
• Maintain scheduled dates for the IMS process to ensure timely execution.
• Plan and review daily activities with supervisors, sub-contractors and other team members.
• Develop recovery plans as needed in collaboration with production supervision and management.

Job Title: Project Scheduler

Position Overview: The Project Scheduler will be responsible for overseeing the workflow for departments and operations according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times. This role involves development and maintenance of project schedule sequences for fabrication, assembly, and installation, as well as collecting and entering progress into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
