Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Scheduler/Scheduler II for a top heavy civil construction client. This candidate will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules for roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects using Primavera P6 to manage timelines and drive project execution.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on heavy civil construction knowledge with scheduling expertise and collaborate with project leadership and field teams to reflect construction activities accurately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4–7 years of construction experience.
• Heavy civil or horizontal construction experience.
• Experience on roadway, bridge, highway, transit, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated scheduling experience within a construction environment.
• Primavera P6 experience.
• Understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls.
• Experience developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules.
• Experience mentoring junior schedulers.
• Experience on P3 projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules for roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams to reflect construction activities in schedules.
• Identify risks, perform time impact analyses, and support recovery scheduling as needed.
• Support successful project execution through timely schedule updates and progress tracking.

This candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on heavy civil construction knowledge with strong scheduling expertise, using Primavera P6 to manage project timelines, track progress, identify risks, and support successful project execution. This individual will work closely with project leadership and field teams to ensure schedules accurately reflect construction activities and drive project success.

• Experience on roadway, bridge, highway, transit, utility, or infrastructure projects
• Previous work in the field (starting out as a field engineer, project engineer, project manager)
• Demonstrated scheduling experience within a construction environment

• Understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls

• Working directly with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams
• Design-build or alternative delivery project experience
• Recovery scheduling experience
