Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Sales Engineer to grow a commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical construction business across Greater Cincinnati. This customer-facing role requires building relationships, developing solutions, and turning opportunities into awarded projects.

You’ll develop new business, meet owners and engineers, evaluate facilities and budgets, and prepare detailed proposals and presentations for winning projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical construction, estimating, project development, project sales, or related field.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction, and estimating.
• Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet directly with owners, contractors, engineers, and facility leaders
• Evaluate facilities, operational challenges, budgets, and project requirements
• Develop HVAC and mechanical construction solutions around customer needs

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Sales Engineer to help grow a commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical construction business throughout Greater Cincinnati.

This is a customer-facing role for someone who knows mechanical systems but also knows how to build relationships, develop solutions, and turn opportunities into awarded projects.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical construction, estimating, project development, project sales, or a related technical field
• Commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical construction sales experience preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction, and estimating
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
