Job summary

FCC Construcción is seeking a Safety Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the HSSE Department on a heavy civil construction project. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees, subcontractors, and visitors, assisting with onboarding and access control.

The position requires OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification and at least 2 years of administrative experience in safety or related fields.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum of 2 years administrative experience in safety, construction, engineering, or industrial operations.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
• Experience on heavy civil or commercial construction projects preferred.
• Experience supporting compliance programs, maintaining records, and preparing reports is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary receptionist for the project office and greet employees, subcontractors, clients, and vendors.
• Assist with safety orientations and onboarding documentation for employees and subcontractors.
• Enroll personnel in the Site Security Access Badge Program and manage badge issuance.
• Maintain visitor logs and verify approvals.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSSE reports and client deliverables.
• Distribute weekly Toolbox Talks and maintain training records.
• Maintain organized HSSE files and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist with PPE inventory and office supply distribution.
• Coordinate meeting logistics and provide general HSSE administrative support.
