The Kind Of Work Youll Be Doing

• Build trusting relationships with Ministry Partners by contacting your entire caseload regularly by phone, mail, and email to inform.
• Thank Ministry Partners for their support of our ministry.
• Communicate the JFP funding needs, using proposals, DVDs, phone calls, etc.
• Challenge Ministry Partners to greater levels of financial involvement.
• Send reports from Donor Reporting relevant to partner's giving.
• Provide materials that will benefit the Ministry Partner's understanding of biblical stewardship and of the JFP vision and activities.
• Pray with and for Ministry Partners regularly.
• Monitor the 800 number phone calls and respond to caller requests.

Deepen All Relationships With Ministry Partners

• Create a spirit of partnership and work with Ministry Partners on special projects, e.g., DVD distribution, vision trips, etc.
• Listen actively to understand needs, desires and expectations.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the database for all assigned contact activity.
• Develop the ability to effectively use JFP computer software systems such as CRM (Siebel) and DevWeb.

Required Experience

• 2 year associate degree or any two-years of college-level work accepted.
• 1 - 3 years experience in fundraising and development, preferably for a Christian ministry.
• Experience in customer service and working one-on-one with people.
• Additional demonstrated excellence in fundraising can be substituted for college training.
