Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in chemical or process engineering, initial project management experience, and communicate effectively in both German and English. Your responsibilities:

• Project management role for small and medium-sized operational projects, and eventually large-scale projects
• Preparation and revision of concept studies, safety assessments, and request specifications
• Economic feasibility studies & calculations
• Resource planning
• Change management (MoC)
• Tracking of outages & malfunctions, deriving corrective actions
• Fault/root cause analyses
• Handover of completed projects to the operator and ensuring final documentation
• Quality assurance for suppliers and subcontractors, technical acceptance inspections at suppliers

What you bring to the table:

• A successfully completed technical degree, preferably in chemical or process engineering
• Initial experience in project management
• Business-level German and fluent English, as well as solid MS Office/SAP skills
• Strong cross-functional technical understanding
• High level of quality and safety awareness
• Leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to efficiently design complex processes
• Basic understanding of occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance
• Interest in the development and implementation of optimization projects, as well as a willingness to innovate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners
• A meticulous, independent, and dedicated work ethic
• Participation in on-call duty
