Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer is seeking a Chemical Technician to support operations during shutdowns and inspections in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have vocational training in chemical technology, experience in chemical production, and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities include assisting with plant inspections, processing SAP messages, and ensuring workplace safety. Qualifications

• Successfully completed vocational training as a chemical technician is required.
• Several years of professional experience in chemical production is an advantage.
• Good MS Office and SAP skills are necessary.

• Supporting the preparation and execution of work during cleaning shutdowns.
• Inspecting columns and containers for acceptance and control purposes.
• Assisting with shutdown and cleaning work.
• Clearing and commissioning pipelines and equipment according to specifications
• Carrying out plant inspections and checks

• Supporting the preparation and execution of work during cleaning shutdowns, inspections, and commissioning
• Carrying out catalyst changes in production
• Inspecting columns and containers for acceptance and control purposes, including while wearing respiratory protection.
• Clearing and commissioning pipelines and equipment according to specifications
• Carrying out plant inspections and checks
• Processing of SAP messages

What you bring to the table:

• Successfully completed vocational training as a chemical technician
• Several years of professional experience in chemical production is an advantage
