Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own the project quality program on capital work from the owner/EPC side. You will draft the project quality plan, set surveillance, qualify vendors, and report metrics to the project manager and owner's quality organization.

You will guide contractor quality managers to ensure the project quality record withstands turnover, and you will lead nonconformance and corrective-action processes while coordinating with the owner’s

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review/accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership.
