Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side. You’ll write the project quality plan, qualify vendors and inspection agencies, and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers to ensure the project aligns with the owner’s quality program.

You will own nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, and report quality metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization as

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
• Able to enforce quality requirements with contractors and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization

Education

ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification

ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE certification
