Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side, writing the project quality plan and establishing surveillance for contractors and suppliers. You will qualify vendors, review QC plans, and report quality performance to the project manager and owner’s quality organization.

The role oversees nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, while forecasting risk and ensuring turnover-ready records.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects with proven leadership.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program and coordinating with owners and EPCs.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements flowing from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers; qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes; report metrics and risks.
• Coordinate with project leadership and the owner's quality organization; travel to active sites as needed.
