Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side, writing the project quality plan and setting the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers.

You will qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors and report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization. Turnover readiness and enforceability of quality records are central to the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and owner's quality organization.
