Job Description:
Pay Range: $32.90hr - $37.90hr
Responsibilities:- Drive production milestones to meet project schedule for vehicle delivery and acceptance.
- Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to production team members and production stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Organize interdepartmental activities and issues affecting production, including interactions with all Production departments, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Management, and Project Management.
- Develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and contractors; influence them to take positive actions to forward the project in their assigned scope.
- Report budget and schedule performance on a regular basis to the Project
- Management and initiate measures to mitigate any budget overruns or schedule slippage.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, devise contingency plans.
- Drive cost reduction measures in operations departments related to the project.
- Ensure all project quality requirements are met.
- Coordinate and drive resolution of issues impacting successful production activities.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in related technical discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years demonstrated experience in project management, industrial engineering, or operations management in an engineer-to-order, capital equipment manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing of large and complex industrial products.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
- MBA degree.
- Experience in manufacturing large engineer-to-order capital equipment environment.
- Rail Industry experience.
