Job summary

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions in Houston seeks a Project Procurement Manager to source equipment and services for large-scale capital projects. You will lead supplier negotiations, manage RFIs/RFPs, and ensure on-time, cost-competitive procurement in alignment with project goals.

You will collaborate with Engineering and PM teams, maintain supplier data in SAP, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to support capital expenditures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field.
  • 7+ years of purchasing experience with preference for equipment in air separation.
  • Proficient in SAP and Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct RFIs/RFPs/RFQs for equipment, materials and services with PM and Engineering teams.
  • Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with suppliers and assess cost, quality and delivery.
  • Prepare purchase orders in SAP and maintain supplier data and price lists.
  • Coordinate quality matters and engineering changes between company and suppliers.
  • Attend project planning meetings to ensure strategic alignment during execution.
  • Present bid analyses to stakeholders in weekly status meetings.

Purchases must be secured at competitive cost, quality, and delivery levels consistent with Company policy and performance standards. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities and physical demands required.**Job Responsibilities:*** Conduct RFI / RFP / RFQs for equipment, materials, and services in collaboration with the Project Management team and Engineering teams* Liaise with Engineering and suppliers to conduct technical clarifications in support of proposal development and project execution* Secure and analyze quotations, lead negotiations prices and terms & conditions with suppliers, recommend suppliers with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities.* Present bid tab analysis to stakeholders during weekly status meetings* Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price,* availability, and delivery schedule, and to track the status of requisitions and orders or to resolve discrepancies with quantity and quality.* Create and issue accurate purchase orders in SAP in a timely manner* Prepare, maintain, and review organized purchasing files, reports, supplier* database, PO details and price lists.* Coordinate quality matters and engineering changes or developments between the company and suppliers.* Arrange for submission and inspection of sample products as required.* Assist with proposal development by securing budgetary quotes* Maintain close supplier relationships* Study market trends in raw materials, commodities, etc.* Present updates to leadership as needed* Attend project planning meetings to ensure strategic alignment in execution phase## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## ## Are you a MATCH?**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field required* Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
