In this position...

The Project Pre-Launch Specialist supports the planning and execution of launches across Vehicle Personalization, Ford Racing, Accessories, and diverse Marketing initiatives. As part of a newly created team, this role helps bring clarity, organization, and momentum to work involving multiple teams and stakeholders. The team’s operating model and the role’s specific responsibilities are evolving and will continue to be shaped by business needs. Working with cross-functional partners, the Project Pre-Launch Specialist helps define plans, track progress, surface risks and dependencies, and support launch readiness. The role calls for sound judgment, strong communication, and the ability to move work forward in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do...
  • Support assigned programs and projects from early planning through launch and post-launch review.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, ownership, and measures of success.
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, action logs, status reports, and other tools suited to the work.
  • Engage cross-functional partners to align on responsibilities, dependencies, decisions, and handoffs.
  • Track progress and highlight risks, issues, resource needs, and potential impacts to timing or scope.
  • Plan and facilitate working sessions, reviews, and launch-readiness discussions; capture decisions and follow-up actions.
  • Communicate timely, clear updates and elevate barriers or decisions that require attention.
  • Help assess launch readiness by tracking relevant deliverables, approvals, communications, and operational handoffs.
  • Support post-launch reviews by gathering feedback, documenting lessons learned, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the team’s developing practices, tools, reporting, and launch-management approach.
  • Adapt project management practices to the size, complexity, and needs of each initiative.
You’ll have...
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, program/project management or other related field
  • Experience supporting or managing projects, programs, product launches, marketing initiatives, or other cross-functional work.
Even better, you may have...
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Engineering
  • Strong planning, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Ability to create clarity amid evolving requirements, changing priorities, and shared ownership.
  • Good judgment in identifying risks, resolving gaps, and determining when to seek a decision or elevate an issue.
  • Ability to synthesize information and communicate status, decisions, and next steps clearly.
  • Comfortable working across functions and with partners who have different priorities and working styles.
  • Proficiency with common project-planning, collaboration, and presentation tools.
