Job Summary

We’re currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Planning and Control Analyst to join our team within KBR’s Defense & Technology Solutions Business Unit (DTS). DTS delivers innovative solutions across digital engineering and integration, rapid prototyping, mission operations, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and secure logistics. Roles and Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, including EAC, variance, and trend analysis.
  • Support program planning and estimates, establish contract baseline budgets, plan milestones, and maintain financial records.
  • Review project costs, estimate future costs, and perform risk analysis.
  • Analyze funding requirements, track available funds, and provide financial status updates.
  • Validate project costs and performance status.
  • Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and charge number control.
  • Reconcile costs and performance data periodically.
  • Import and reconcile budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain and update T&M rate tables.
  • Perform accounting and analytical tasks, including transaction processing and report preparation.
  • Oversee subcontractor expenditures and analyze cost trends for accurate accruals.
  • Develop presentations and metrics for stakeholders.
  • Understand contract management and government contracting procedures.
  • Support process improvements and develop training materials.
  • Lead onboarding and mentoring of junior analysts.
  • Assist in proposal development following pricing procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5 years of applicable experience.
  • Proficient in Deltek CostPoint and COGNOS/BI software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle conflicting priorities.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Cobra experience is a plus.
  • Secret Clearance is a plus but not required.

Location: Remote

Salary range: $99,000 - $148,500, based on location, experience, and skills.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, sign-on bonuses, relocation benefits, and incentives based on performance and role.
