Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal or Sr Principal Training Rep to join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of national defense.

In this role, you will plan and coordinate in-house and external training programs, partner with subject matter experts, and ensure training solutions meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has project management experience, ISD/ADDIE familiarity, and the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Two years of PM experience with a Bachelor's degree required.
• Level 3 PM requires 5 years with a Bachelor's, 3 with a Masters.
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret Clearance.
• Travel up to 10%.
• ISD/ADDIE process familiarity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with LMS and eLearning tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs and plan/coordinate training events.
• Manage logistics and document training status in the LMS.
• Design in-house training with SMEs and trainers.

In this role, you will identify training that meets engineers’ needs, plan and coordinate training events, manage logistics, and document training status in a learning management system. The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, experience coordinating events, and a background in curriculum development and in‑person instruction. You will work closely and collaboratively with an experienced technical team to ensure training solutions effectively support our customers’ needsPlan and coordinate in house and external training programs in support of all engineering functions.Partner with subject matter experts and trainers to design in house training: gather required information, develop course content, prepare training materials, determine delivery methodology, and coordinate training aids.Conduct training sessions as needed.Implement and support evaluation of training effectiveness, using feedback and metrics to drive improvement.Continuously update and refine lesson plans to address new training requirements and keep technical information current.Oversee operational aspects of training projects, including reviewing status and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing training status reportsSelect appropriate instructional methods (e.g., individual training, group instruction, self study, lecture, demonstration performance, problem based learning, student centered learning, guided discussion) based on learner needs and training objectives. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
