Job summary

Rehlko is seeking a Project Manufacturing Engineer to drive production performance at our Sheboygan, WI site. You will lead process improvements, collaborate with design engineering, and manage capital projects to deliver safer, higher-quality, cost-efficient manufacturing outcomes.

The role requires hands-on leadership in implementing DFM/DFA and sustaining process excellence. You will work onsite at 7650 County Rd LS, Sheboygan, WI 53083, 1st shift, with responsibilities spanning from planning

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., DMAIC, PDCA, A3).
• Partner with design engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and support new product launches.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, and material flow to maximize throughput.
• Manage capital and process improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Support root cause analysis and PFMEA maintenance.

Why You Will Love this Job Project Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reductions, productivity, and continuous Improvement In Their Assigned Areas. Primary Responsibilities Will include meeting performance goals, maintaining quality expectations, and improving the three M's (Mura or variation, Muda or waste, and Muri or overburden). Provide mentorship to manufacturing technicians and production staff. Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment for new and existing products. Work closely with design engineering on new, existing, and changing products to provide a smooth transition from design to production.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., DMAIC, PDCA, A3).
• Partner with design engineering to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and support new product launches.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, and material flow to maximize throughput and resource utilization.
• Manage capital and process improvement projects, leading cross-functional teams to successful execution.
• Support root cause analysis and resolution of production and field quality issues, including PFMEA development and maintenance.
• Implement Poke
