Responsibilities

• Lead projects for development and support of HVAC&R equipment including heat exchangers and air handling systems.
• Manage project schedules, costs and resources with internal/external teams.
• Evaluate design approaches to meet production requirements and investigate improvements.
• Perform mechanical analysis and performance predictions for HVAC&R components.
• Specify and evaluate supplier components and services; scout and engage new suppliers.
• Coordinate on-time project execution with internal teams and external partners.
• Develop manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and related documentation for fabrication.
• Review customer specifications to develop compliant designs for bids and development.
• Create technical documentation, manuals, and procedures.
• Support testing, qualification, and analysis of prototypes and products.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and adhere to specs.
• Provide budget, cost and schedule inputs for project status reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve cost efficiency and throughput.

Summary

:Project/Mechanical Engineer position responsible for leading projects and developing a variety of HVAC&R product designs for both commercial and defense markets including heat exchangers, air conditioning, refrigeration, and air handling systems. This position will be responsible for leading development of new products, supporting legacy products; sizing and selecting components; supporting strategic initiatives; creating associated documentation; supporting product testing, qualification, and production; and associated facilities/lab expansion and upgrade projects

Job Responsibilities

• Leading projects for the development and support of mechanical equipment, especially air conditioning, refrigeration, and air handling systems including heat exchange
