Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, located in McLean, VA, is seeking a Task Order Lead to support customer activities and provide premier cyber security services. You will guide a highly skilled team and help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

At least 10 years of related experience and an active TS/SCI with polygraph are required, along with strong AWS/Azure cloud security and risk management knowledge.

  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with your team and customer to ensure mission success.
  • Directing and controlling activities for the customer to ensure that technical requirements are met.
  • Interfacing with senior management and negotiating requirements with the sponsor.
  • Making decisions and applying cybersecurity and cloud domain knowledge to impact project implementation.
  • Oversee and perform technical tasks to include scanning of networks/systems/infrastructure/applications and continuously monitor for vulnerabilities/threats
  • Directly engage with government CISO for risk posture, strategy and remediation
  • Assist junior level candidates with continuous monitoring tasks which includes patch, asset, incident, configuration, information and license management
  • Create, revise and suggest content to cyber security policies, internal process documents and standard operating processes (SOPs)
  • Ability to review system and project requirements, architecture, web applications and other artifacts to provide cyber security input, comments and feedback from a Continuous Monitoring position
  • Create meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other meeting documentation
  • Experience with conducting research and evaluating the latest technologies and software for possible integration into enterprise

HOW A TASK ORDER LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT


  • Communicating with your team and customer to ensure mission success.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • Education : Bachelors (Computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline)

  • Required Experience : 10+ yrs

  • Security Clearance Level : TS/SCI with active polygraph

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53, CNSS 1253, ICD 503 and other relevant security standards

  • Experience with recommending security standards and compliance through system monitoring and audits

  • Experience conducting vulnerability scans using Nessus, AppDetective and WebInspect and performing analysis on the scans

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Continuous Monitoring, tools, processes, and procedures

  • Strong understanding of FISMA audits and the ability to provide input annual basis

  • Ability to investigate, report and provide resolution to security incidents

  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with external organizations on processes and tools to improve the continuous monitoring of enterprise systems

  • Ability to create presentations outlining schedules, security findings and recommendations, and risks

  • Experience in AWS and Azure cloud security

  • Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in IT best practices regarding application, enterprise system, and network security

  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing, communications and briefing skills

  • Desired Certifications:

  • Security Certifications to include CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, NCSF, CAP

  • Cloud certifications in Amazon and Azure cloud technologies

The likely salary range for this position is $167,838 - $227,075. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
