Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, physical science, business, or math.
• 10 years of experience in Project Management, Data Analysis, Organizational Management, and Business Process Improvement.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification may be required at the task order level.

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to meet goals within time and funding.
• Reviews project proposals to determine time frames, funding, procedures, staffing, and resource allotment.
• Establishes work plans and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase and assigns personnel.
• Confers with staff to outline work plans, assign duties and scope of authority.
• May manage sub-contractors and their workforce.
• Directs project personnel to keep progress on schedule and within budget.
• Reviews status reports and updates schedules as required.
• Prepares project reports for management and clients.
• Confers with personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
• May supervise Project Supervisors/leaders on larger programs.

How Role will make an impact:

• Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
• Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• May manage sub-contractors and their workforce.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• May manage Project Supervisors/leaders assigned to specific projects in larger organizations.

Requirements

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance
