Job summary

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support our Army client at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

The PM will lead day-to-day technical management, develop and manage project plans, and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions and schedules. Responsibilities include coordinating project team scheduling, tracking, reporting, risk analysis, cost management, leading design, implementation and production life cycles, running integration meetings and stakeholder sessions, and briefing Army leaders

Qualifications

• Must possess an undergraduate degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or Business or other related field.
• Must be certified Project Management Professional.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of program management experience with information Systems.
• Must have a minimal of 5 years of experience with US Army Planning Programming and budget formulation business (PPB) processes.
• Project managers must have minimum of one of the following disciplines; At least 3 years project management experience managing complex information systems using the latest industry technologies, good understanding of DoD Cyber Security requirements, and previous project management experience with complex information systems.

• Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing software development, platform operations and/or cybersecurity projects.
• Demonstrated successful management and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in efforts similar in size and scope as referenced in this PWS.
• Knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices related to Software Development, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity
• Demonstrated experience in a DOD IT environment.
• Excellent communication skills at senior government levels
