Role Description

The Project Manager / Window and Door Measure Tech is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilmington, DE. This position is responsible for managing residential exterior projects from initial site assessment through completion, with a focus on windows and doors. Day-to-day tasks include conducting accurate on-site measurements, performing pre-install inspections, coordinating schedules with installation crews, and ensuring materials and logistics align with job requirements. The role also involves communicating with homeowners, updating project timelines, resolving field issues, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to maintain project quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Project coordination skills, including Project Management and Expediting, with the ability to oversee multiple jobs and timelines.
• Experience as an Expeditor or in logistics-related roles, demonstrating strong Logistics Management capabilities for materials and scheduling.
• Inspection skills, including jobsite assessments, quality checks, and detailed measurement for windows and doors.
• Knowledge of residential construction, exterior remodeling, or window and door installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, work orders, and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in field measurements and documentation.
• Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with homeowners, crews, and vendors.
• Comfort working on-site, including climbing ladders, accessing various areas of a home, and adhering to safety standards.
• Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., tablets, measurement apps, project management software) and MS Office or similar platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites in the service area.
• Previous experience in construction project management, field measuring, or related trades is preferred.
