Job summary

Gables Search Group is seeking a Project Manager with Water/Wastewater and treatment experience for a leading civil engineering firm in North Carolina. You will oversee planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure.

Candidates must hold a North Carolina PE and bring 6–20+ years of relevant experience; proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; strong proposals, leadership, and business development skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• North Carolina PE license required.
• 6–20+ years of water/wastewater project experience.
• Strong design and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage design and construction of water and wastewater projects.
• Lead design and project management on water infrastructure projects (water/wastewater treatment, plants, distribution, collection, pump/lift stations).
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and lead junior engineers.
• Business development experience a plus.

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager with Water/Wastewater, Treatment Water Treatment experience. This career growth opportunity is with an established, full service civil engineering firm. They are a leader in water/wastewater, water treatment and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will be responsible for planning, project management, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Design and project management on water infrastructure projects (water/wastewater treatment, plants, distribution, collection, pump/lift stations, etc.)
• Prepare proposals, scope of work, lead junior engineers, etc.
• Business Development experience a plus.

Requirements

• Must be North Carolina PE with least 6 to 20+ years of relevant Water/Wastewater project experience (water treatment plant design and municipal utility infrastructure)
• Relationships with State and Local municipalities, agencies a plus
• Active in professional associations a plus

Technical Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
