Description

Brown and Caldwell is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our growing team.

This full-time position involves contributing to project delivery and client service teams in planning, evaluation, design, permitting, and construction support for water treatment plants, biosolids, pumping stations, pipelines, and water resources projects for municipal clients. We are looking for a Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineer with a PE license who will work with our Northeast Area leaders to grow our business while overseeing projects and mentoring engineers in water, wastewater, stormwater, or related fields.

Remote work within the New England region is permitted, but travel (~25%) to client sites across New England is required.

Responsibilities
  • Project team leadership: Set objectives, decision-making processes, schedules, budgets, and success factors. Facilitate effective communication, motivate teams, establish trust, foster a creative environment, embrace diversity, and support team development.
  • Project execution: Collaborate on scope, schedule, and budget development; create quality management plans; manage changes and risks; monitor project performance metrics; and support client relationships and business development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering/Science field.
  • 4-8 years of project management experience in water-related engineering projects, managing scopes of $25,000–$100,000, with proficiency in scheduling and budgeting tools.
  • PE license or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (~25%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or MBA degree.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience in supervision or mentoring.
