Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate wastewater monitoring equipment installation projects across a variety of clients and product lines, ensuring delivery within time, cost, and performance constraints.

The role requires a civil engineering or related background, PMP certification (or willingness to obtain), 3+ years of PM experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead field teams while maintaining solid client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Civil Engineering strongly preferred.
• Three years of related project management experience.
• PMP certification required or willingness to obtain it.
• EIT or PE certification highly recommended; PE licensure preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and product lines.
• Strong analytical skills with experience collecting, evaluating, and reporting technical data.
• Effective communicator with experience collaborating with customers, internal teams, and Key Account Managers.
• Financial acumen, including project financial forecasting and gross margin management.
• Growth- and change-oriented mindset with ability to drive improvements and adapt to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects across clients and product lines, meeting scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate civil engineering project activities across teams with clear tasks and timelines.
• Champion safety and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Monitor project performance and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee project financials including forecasting, gross margin tracking, and risk management.
• Lead, coach, and develop Field Technicians, Supervisors, and Managers.
• Foster engagement and strong team effectiveness; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Collect and report technical data from field activities with attention to detail.
