Job summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Project Manager with deep experience in water and wastewater construction to lead projects from planning through delivery.

You will oversee cost projections, scheduling, and on-site supervision, while managing owner relations, procurement, and safety programs to ensure successful project outcomes. This role requires strong leadership and contract administration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 7–10 years of construction experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Experience managing projects and owner relations in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost and Work In Progress projections.
• Direct job site supervisory personnel and daily activities.
• Plan and schedule the project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain owner relations and communications.
• Negotiate and purchase materials as needed.
• Set and enforce on-site safety expectations.
• Control project costs and budgets across the lifecycle.
• Oversee labor projections and staffing levels.
• Handle contract negotiation and administration.
