Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects.
• Negotiate project scope and estimates with customers.
• Manage customer expectations and satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with customers and vendors.
• Review site documentation to support services and billing processes.
• Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurers.
• Retain ownership of jobs from start to payment; assist with estimating/collections.
• Manage production expenses including equipment and vehicles; liaison with subcontractors as needed.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration teammates.

SERVPRO of Belmont/San Carlos, San Leandro, West Oakland, Newark/SW Fremont is hiring a Restoration Project Manager!

As the Restoration Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects (Water, Mold, & Demo) as well as restoration crews with varied experience. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence and sincere customer care. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects with timeline/budget expectations
• Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate
• Direct Coordinators in scheduling jobs and oversee crews/resources to provide service on active projects
• Manage the customer/client experience and set expectations
• Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process
• Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives
• Retain ownership of jobs from onset to payment in full; aid estimating & collections with any job-related questions
• Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets
• Work with Subcontractors as needed

Additional Responsibilities

• Customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
• Provide priority response to potential customers
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration teammates
• On Call rotation for dispatching of crews - after hours

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• IICRC certification a preferred

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
