Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead electrical and gas utility initiatives across diverse scopes. You will define parameters, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and oversee procurement, contracts, and quality Assurance.

The role requires 3–5 years in utility project management (or 5–6+ for PM II) with PMP or Agile training, and a PE license. A hybrid work setup is supported to balance client sites, offices, and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or related field; equivalent experience with client approval.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in construction projects (Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil).
• PM I: 3–5 years of direct project management with utility projects.
• PM II: 5–6+ years of direct project management with utility projects.
• PMP certification or Agile/Program Management training.
• PE license.
• Experience assessing financial impacts of projects and building solid business cases.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement electric and gas utility projects of varying size and complexity.
• Define and maintain project parameters from inception to completion.
• Oversee deliverables: scope, schedule, budget, design, procurement, construction.
• Ensure scope completion and adherence to schedules.
• Manage budgets and optimize funds usage.
• Oversee contractor selection and contract preparation.
• Ensure design/construction quality and compliance with scope/budget.
• Develop uniform standards for delivery and reporting.
• Coordinate material procurement and contracting strategies.
• Conduct monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial controls.
• Flexible: work location includes remote, onsite, or Accenture office/center.
