Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks a full-time Project Manager to support an Electronic Security System installation in Atlanta, GA for USMS. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure safety and contractual compliance, and report progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document inventory of all equipment and material for the project site.
• Follow internal project management procedures including revenue forecasting and estimate at completion.
• Ensure safe project execution per Versar safety requirements.
• Meet with internal and external stakeholders weekly or as required.

Who You Are:

Versar is seeking a full-time Project Manager (PM) to support a physical Electronic Security System (ESS) installation project in Atlanta, Georgia in support of the United States Marshals Service (USMS). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with some oversite. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with the performance and supervision of tasks related to electronic security systems (i.e., Access Control, CCTV, Video Management, Intrusion Detection, Intercoms etc.), and in managing the performance of projects, including people, schedule, scope, quality control, and budget. Further, the candidate will have experience working with other trades, i.e., construction, IT, and client stakeholders. The PM will be the senior subject matter expert and monitor, control and report status on cost, schedule and performance.

What You'll Do:

• Provide overall management on a customer site with some availability for remote work. Minimal travel may be required around the project schedule.
• Meet or exceed client project execution requirements through effective allocation of resources, and by ensuring high quality work, following budget and schedule parameters.
• Manage internal resources and subcontractors. This includes, but is not limited to, verifying quality of installation and deliverables, evaluating percent complete for subcontracted tasks, evaluating equipment and materials used to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and standards, validating invoices for payment, negotiating costs, and managing scope change.
• Ensure contractual compliance with all installation activities, deliverables, and schedule.
• Manage and document inventory of all equipment and material purchased for the project and/or shipped to the project site for installation.
• Ensure internal project management procedures are followed, including project revenue forecasting and estimate at completion.
• Ensure project is carried out safely in accordance with Versar's safety requirements.
• Meet with and/or report weekly to internal and external stakeholder entities.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of verifiable project management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Professional experience in the systems administration field with three years of overall experience in Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems.
• Certifications, or have the capability to obtain certifications, in Hirsch, Bosch BVMS, and Bosch IDS, and experience with Commend, Aiphone, Inovonics, and networks.
• Prior experience as a project manager for ESS projects with a full understanding of managing clients, financials, vendor relationships, subcontractors, and project level staff.
• Public Trust clearance requirements.
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience with electronic security systems, specifically hands‑on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with Intrusion Detection Systems, Access Control Systems and Video Management Systems.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year

Location Requirements

The position will primarily work onsite in Atlanta with remote work when possible, during certain project phases. Travel is possible around the project schedule.
