PROLIM is currently seeking Project Management Analyst for one of our top clients in Newport News, VA.
Description/Comment:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience. Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
Special Requirements:
Project Management Experience and Relative Software preferred but not required; Microsoft Office Suite or similar experience is required.
Position provides high-level cost estimating, project planning, risk analysis and mitigation, engineering design review and approval, and field engineering support for the design and construction of heavy industrial buildings and waterfront/ship construction facilities. Responsible for all aspects of project management including technical proposal development, proposal review, construction planning, development of project financials, metrics and budget tracking, engineering drawing/submittal review and approval, review of contractor safety and quality plans, start-up, and commissioning.
