In this role, you will lead, manage, and develop transportation engineering projects and staff, including:

1. Preparation and review of Traffic Impact Analyses (TIA).
2. Representation at Public Hearings to support TIAs.
3. Design of traffic signalization, Signing and Pavement Marking, ITS, and safety technology.
4. Investigation of accident data and safety evaluations.
5. Enhancement of bicycle and pedestrian safety facilities.
6. Preparation of engineering reports.
7. Conducting field reviews.
8. Developing safety and traffic flow improvements.
9. Creating conceptual improvement drawings.
10. Collaborating with other disciplines and remote staff.
11. Managing staff, including other traffic engineers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license (preferred or in progress), knowledge of TXDOT policies, and excellent communication skills. A valid driver's license is required.

Physical Demands: The role involves office work, computer use, and occasional field reviews, requiring good hand-eye coordination, vision, and communication skills.
