Job summary

SLS Consultants in San Francisco seeks a senior project leader to deliver high-end commercial office fit-outs for prestigious corporate occupiers. You will manage projects from design development through procurement, construction, and handover, ensuring quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in real estate development or construction, experience with law firms or financial services clients, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in real estate development, construction, or design.
• Experience delivering office environments for law firms, private equity or financial service clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related area strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Proficient in project management tools, project accounting, and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-end commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule, cost, quality, and operational risks.
• Review contractor schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in construction and coordination meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Track procurement activities and long-lead equipment to support project milestones and critical path requirements.
• Assist in managing project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and reporting deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project safety standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
• Support the continuous improvement of project management processes, procedures, and best practices.
