Job summary

GAC Enterprises LLC is seeking a Project Manager I to lead and coordinate construction projects, interfacing with field operations and customers. This entry-level role offers exposure to full project lifecycle with support for bid preparation and financials.

The position requires 3-5 years in telecom or construction, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read telecom prints. Travel up to 50% and OSHA or related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of telecom or construction experience.
• Prior experience in construction management or field leadership required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read telecom construction prints and use Google Earth.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Valid driver's license; OSHA or telecom certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned projects to understand scope, timelines, and requirements.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers and field teams to execute project plans.
• Maintain project tracking systems for reporting and visibility.
• Support scheduling, inspections, and overall workflow.
• Manage customer communication and expectations.
• Monitor project progress and escalate risks or issues.
• Support weekly project audits and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Support project closeout documentation and deliverables.
• Assist Senior Project Managers with bid preparation and project financials.

The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager I to manage the execution of construction projects — coordinating with field operations, supporting customer communication, and developing full project ownership. This is the entry point into Project Management for someone ready to take on full project lifecycle responsibility.

What You'll Do

Working Conditions
