Qualifications

  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technical service delivery.

  • Lead cross-functional coordination between Project Coordinators, field technicians, provisioning, engineering, support, accounting, and sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

Vivant is seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. This role will lead a team of Project Coordinators while overseeing the end-to-end delivery of VoIP, ISP, and network projects, ensuring timely execution, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

The Project Manager will provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to the Project Coordinator team, manage project timelines and priorities, and serve as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with strong project management skills, customer-facing experience, and a passion for ownership, structured execution, and high-impact delivery.

Your Day-to-Day as a Project Manager

Project & Team Leadership

  • Lead and oversee a team of Project Coordinators responsible for customer implementations and project delivery.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of VoIP, ISP, and network deployments across multiple clients and locations.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to Project Coordinators to ensure projects stay on track and customer expectations are met.
  • Review project plans, timelines, milestones, and priorities, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination between Project Coordinators, field technicians, provisioning, engineering, support, accounting, and sales.

Client & Vendor Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex customer concerns, project risks, and delivery issues.
  • Ensure Project Coordinators maintain proactive communication with customers and provide timely updates.
  • Oversee coordination with ISPs, hardware vendors, carriers, subcontractors, and third-party technical partners.

Service Delivery Oversight

  • Ensure customer projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, requirements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project health, identify risks and blockers, and ensure appropriate action is taken to keep projects moving forward.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from implementation and installation to billing, support, and ongoing account management.
  • Standardize and improve project delivery processes, documentation, and workflows.
  • Identify recurring issues and implement improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular updates to the Lead Project Manager and leadership on project status, team performance, risks, escalations, and KPIs.
  • Monitor project and team performance and provide coaching and feedback where needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure the team consistently updates PM, CRM, and business management systems such as Utiliko.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure priorities and expectations remain aligned.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Previous experience managing, supervising, or directly leading a team.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from planning through completion.
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience supporting U.S.-based clients.
  • 1+ year of experience in Telecom, ISP, MSP, IT Services, Networking, or Low Voltage environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate vendors, carriers, subcontractors, and technical teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong ownership, follow-through, and ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technical service delivery.
  • Experience using project management, ticketing, CRM, and collaboration tools.

Compensation:
