Job summary

Higginbotham Payroll Services LLC seeks a seasoned Project Manager to oversee high-impact projects from inception to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, drawing on extensive marketing and communications project management experience.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee and manage high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet organizational goals, are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in marketing and communications project management, demonstrate strong technology and organizational capabilities, and have a proven track record of managing complex, fast-paced projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate and lead project activities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project goals, progress, and changes effectively to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial resources are used efficiently.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to specifications. Implement and monitor quality control processes.
  • Project Execution: Oversee day-to-day project activities, resolve issues, and ensure tasks are completed according to the project plan. Adapt plans and strategies as needed to address any changes or challenges.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management practices and increase efficiency within the team.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Asana, Workfront, etc.).
  • Proficient in budget management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a strong focus on achieving project goals and delivering results.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs, Asana, Ziflow and able to learn internal software programs quickly.
Experience and Education:
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens.

  • Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions.
