Job description

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical solutions organization seeking a Project Manager II for a fully REMOTE role.

Contract Duration: This position is slated to be a 4-6 month contract engagement (potential to extend).

This role will be responsible for managing projects with team level integration points, overseeing project schedules, cost, and quality proactively, and making recommendations within the project objectives. The manager will leverage technical knowledge, best practices, and organizational dynamics to mitigate issues and risks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Manhattan Associates supply chain implementations, ideally with a focus on WMS.
• Proficiency with tools such as Clarity, Jira, MS Project.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop, refine, validate, and manage project plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of major technology initiatives.
• Utilize project management methods, standards, and project integration, coordinating all internal and external resources required.
• Provide timely and concise communications to leadership regarding project status and issues.
• Analyze processes and recommend optimizations for resources and product delivery.
• Develop project plans and ensure effective execution.
• Build consensus among process leads regarding scope, tasks, staffing, and issue resolution.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgets, controls, and progress measurements.
• Identify potential risks and proactively manage issues.
• Participate in cost estimation, resource allocation, schedule changes, and issue escalation.
• Interact with business management, vendors, consultants, and contractors regularly.
