The Project Manager, Store Development Purchasing role is primarily responsible for owner supplied construction materials, and fixtures. This includes daily interaction with multiple Sephora stores to ensure that fixture repairs and maintenance requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. Reporting to the Manager, Store Development Purchasing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our brands are showcased in the best possible way, while also guaranteeing that all fixtures are safe and functional for both our clients and employees in our retail stores.

  • Responsible for providing financial forecasts based upon floor plans, order grids, and generated CER documents accordingly while partnering with the Store Capital team.
  • Issue purchase orders, reconcile invoices including ensuring payment terms are met and good receipts are performed in Coupa per the project milestones for all Store Development project types.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, (Store Design, Construction, Store Transformation, Store Opening) on capital project planning needs.
  • Proactively anticipate, mitigate and resolve project issues.
  • Track all projects and provide close out documentation to Finance.

  • 5+ yearsRelated project management experience In store retail environment, Purchasing or Facilities Management field
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System like ServiceChannel, Corrigo, Fexa, Service Now, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point presentation software.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet software.
  • General knowledge of retail store layouts, merchandising, fixture installation and general trade repairs.
  • Ability to manage daily operations of the facility, including fixture maintenance & repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency with a proactive approach, the ability to innovate, work independently, and deliver results.
  • Excellent customer service skills and active listening and interpersonal communication skills to respond to inquiries, address concerns, and ensure cooperative and productive work relationships.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail, ability to assign priority to multiple requests simultaneously, and remain cool under pressure.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with Field Leadership by demonstrating clear communication, a strong sense of urgency, and timely responses.
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with cross-functional teams, including Business Operations, Store Concepts, Construction, Purchasing, Brand Updates, and Marketing.
