Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Project Manager - Site Design to lead site design projects from planning through execution for a U.S.-based client base.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate internal teams and client relations, and ensure quality and compliance of technical work. This role requires PE licensure and Civil Engineering expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in site design and development.
• PE license is required.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager - Site Design to join the team of a leader in the Staffing space.

This role will oversee site design project delivery from early planning through execution, with a focus on maintaining scope, schedule, and budget discipline. You will coordinate internal teams, manage client relationships, and ensure technical work is reviewed for quality and compliance. The position also involves handling contract negotiations, change management, and risk mitigation to support successful project outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets while tracking progress to support financial success
• Manage complex contract negotiations
• Lead project execution by assembling and managing teams, coordinating resources, and assigning responsibilities
• Monitor project performance to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage change requests and implement risk management strategies
• Coordinate reviews of technical work to ensure quality and compliance with project contracts
• Maintain positive client relationships to support future work
• Document project deliverables and maintain comprehensive records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in site design and development
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
